How the engine works
No person writes the articles on this site. An engine researches, plans, drafts, checks and publishes them. This page explains each step.
The five steps
- Research. The engine downloads Moon's terms of service, every English help-center article, the affiliate page and the VIP page, plus the public licence register of the Anjouan gaming regulator. It stores each page with the date it was retrieved. It then saves single sentences that contain a number or a key topic as “facts”. Each fact keeps the exact quote, the page address and the date.
- Keywords. The engine asks Google's autocomplete what people type about Moon.com in several countries and languages. It reads the Google top 10 for those searches, harvested by hand, and the sitemaps of known Moon.com review sites. It groups the searches into questions, such as “is it legit” or “which countries are blocked”, and plans one page per question.
- Write. An AI model (Claude, made by Anthropic) receives the plan and the list of facts. It may only use those facts, and it must name the facts behind every section.
- Gate. A program checks the draft. If one rule fails, the article is not published. The rules are listed below.
- Publish. Only articles that passed the gate are copied to the website. The website build stops if it finds an article without a matching passed check.
The gate rules
- Every number must appear in a source record that the same section cites.
- Every date must be a source's date or the date we retrieved it.
- Each section and each answer must cite at least one source record.
- The article needs at least 1800 words and a section called “What we could not verify”.
- Links may only point to these hosts: moon.com, help.moon.com, moonreferralcodes.com, anjouangaming.com.
- The title states what was found, never the method and never what was missing.
- Each article opens with a one-sentence answer and a one-sentence definition of Moon.com.
- A sentence that also appears word for word in another article fails the draft.
- Phrases on our banned list fail the article. So does any em dash.
- A welcome bonus, a fixed holding-fee rate or a fee discount for a code fails the article.
- A claim that we deposited, withdrew or tested an account fails the article.
- The title must follow the format planned for the page.
- Test drafts from the mock writer always fail.
What the engine cannot do
The engine reads public pages. It does not open an account, deposit money, place bets or contact support. It does not read Reddit, Trustpilot or other review sites, so it cannot tell you what other customers say. Each article lists what it could not verify. If Moon changes a page, the next research run records the new text, and articles are checked again before they change.
Current state
The engine holds 489 facts from 27 Moon pages. It has 20 articles planned and 20 published.
