What Is Moon.com? Leveraged Up or Down Price Betting
Short answer
Documented, with gaps: Moon.com is a house-banked leveraged price-betting product run by Moon International Limited.
Moon.com is a leveraged gambling product: users bet on price moves, and Moon International Limited takes the other side. The largest gap: Moon's terms allow periodic holding fees, but its documents state no rate or charging interval. Minors, residents of a prohibited jurisdiction and anyone who cannot afford to lose a full wager must not use Moon.com.
Moon.com is a gambling site where you stake crypto on whether an asset price rises or falls, with Moon itself as the counterparty and Moon International Limited as operator.

Moon.com: what is it?
Moon.com is a betting site where each bet is a stake on the price direction of a market. The user picks the stake size and a leverage level. Section 8 of Moon's terms ties the payout to how the price moves. Moon's help center says its markets take bets 24/7.
In Moon's terms, a wager is the money a user commits and places at risk on a single bet. Leverage is a factor that the user selects for each bet. It scales the effect of each price move on the bet. The potential return can be shown on screen as a multiple of the wager, and the terms call that figure the Multiplier.
Moon also runs a VIP program, and its page ties rewards to wagering volume. As of October 2026, the VIP page names a Bronze level at a $10K wager amount. Another tier on that page covers wagers from $250K to $2.5M. The same page offers instant cash rewards for losses, and that cash can be wagered right away. More wagering brings more benefits, in the page's own framing.
Moon's terms state in capital letters that the bets are high-risk speculative entertainment and may not suit all users. The terms also say a user deposits and wagers entirely at their own risk. Opening an account binds a user to the terms plus a privacy policy, risk disclosure, responsible play policy and fee schedule. Moon also runs an affiliate program that pays on the wagering of referred users, and referral codes have their own Moon Legit page.

Who runs Moon.com, and who takes the other side of a bet?
Moon International Limited runs Moon.com. Moon itself is the counterparty to every bet. The company is the party users contract with under Moon's terms. Those terms use the word House for Moon in its role as principal counterparty on each bet, under Section 5.4.
Section 1.1 states that the company is incorporated under the laws of the Union of the Comoros, with registration number 16151. Its registered office is at Hamchako, Mutsamudu, on the Autonomous Island of Anjouan. As of October 2026, the Anjouan gaming regulator's license register shows Moon International Ltd with a valid license for moon.com. Inside Moon's terms, the names Moon and Moon.com also cover the company's affiliates.
Moon has a direct financial interest in how each bet ends. Winning bets are paid from Moon's side, and lost wagers stay with Moon. The terms call that interest an inherent feature of the service. They link it to the performance fee in Section 9.2, which the terms name as the House's edge on bets. Moon may also manage the House's total exposure, for example by changing leverage levels, wager limits or payout limits on a market.
Moon's terms bar use of Moon.com from a long list of jurisdictions. Section 3.2 names 44 places, including the United States, the United Kingdom, France and Germany. The same clause also excludes any country under country-wide sanctions. It further excludes any country that requires a local gambling or financial-services license that Moon does not hold. As of October 2026, users must be at least 18, or older where local law sets a higher minimum.

How does a bet on Moon.com work?
A Moon.com bet starts when the user picks a market, a wager size and a leverage level. Moon's help center describes selecting the asset first and then entering the wager and leverage. The terms say those inputs set the bet's payout profile and its bust price. Both figures appear before the user confirms the bet.
The bust price is the price level at which a bet is settled as lost automatically. Moon's terms say the wager and the leverage together decide where that level sits. Moon's help center speaks of a max loss price: the level where a position closes before losses pass the wager. It is calculated when the bet opens and stays visible on the wager summary and in the list of open bets.
Moon's help center works out the size of a position by multiplying the stake by the chosen leverage. It describes leverage as buying power borrowed from the platform, used to open a bet larger than the user's own funds. Profit on a winning bet is multiplied by the leverage too. A note in the same guide adds that such profit is subject to Moon's fee structure.
Watching an open bet is the user's job. Moon's terms say the company has no duty to warn a user as a bet nears its bust price. It may still send such notices as a courtesy. Before any of this, the help center lists the setup steps: create an account, verify the email, submit KYC and make a first deposit. KYC, short for Know Your Customer, is the identity check.

Is Moon.com trading or betting?
Moon.com is betting, not trading, according to its own terms. They describe the service as entertainment and gaming offered for recreational use. Moon's terms also state that the platform offers no spot trading and no way to buy, sell or hold a digital asset.
Moon's terms rule out treating the service as an investment, trading, brokerage or financial advisory service. A separate passage adds that bets on the platform are not securities, investments or regulated financial instruments. It calls them speculative entertainment products. Offering them, the terms say, creates no advisory or fiduciary tie between the user and Moon.com. Price charts and educational content on the site do not count as advice either, the terms add.
Moon's help center borrows some market vocabulary, such as position size and liquidation. The terms instead define each bet as a wager on how a market's price moves. The responsible-play part of the terms repeats that the services are meant for recreational and entertainment use. Moon also warns in capitals that risks include extreme price volatility, bust risk, technology risk and regulatory risk.
Moon's terms use gambling words for the people and roles involved. The opening clause names the customer as User or Player, and it calls the company the House. When a bet busts, the terms say the wager is forfeited to the House. Another clause makes the services subject to betting rules and risk disclosures that Moon publishes on the platform and may update.

How much leverage does Moon.com offer?
Moon.com offers leverage of up to 1000x, as of October 2026. Moon's help center adds that the top level depends on the selected market and on conditions. The lowest setting is 1x, and users pick a level with a slider or by typing the multiplier.
The help center's own worked example uses a $100 wager at 1000x leverage. In that example, the $100 controls a $100,000 position. The guide contrasts this with 1x, where $100 buys only $100 of an asset. Moon's help center calls leverage a tool for controlling much larger positions with a small amount of capital. Users can adjust the leverage at any time before they open the bet, the help center says.
High leverage shortens the distance to a bust. Moon's guide warns that a 0.1% move against a 1000x bet is enough to wipe out the whole wager. Its example puts numbers on that: if Bitcoin falls 0.1% to $59,940, the $100 wager is gone. The terms say the same in general form: the higher the leverage, the smaller the adverse price move needed for a bust.
A bet at high leverage can be liquidated very quickly on small price moves, the help center notes. Moon's terms print the same warning in capital letters, saying higher leverage makes a bet bust faster. At its discretion, Moon may impose wager or bet-size limits and may close open bets during extreme volatility. The Moon Legit page on the 1000x setting goes through the top level in more detail.

Can you lose more than your wager on Moon.com?
No, a Moon.com bet cannot lose more than its wager, as of October 2026. Section 8.6 of Moon's terms limits the maximum loss on any bet to the wager committed to it. The terms add that a user never owes anything beyond the wager after a bust.
A bust is the automatic settlement of a bet as lost once the market price reaches the bust price. At that point the wager is forfeited to the House. Moon's terms also promise that placing or settling bets will never leave an account balance negative. The leverage guide states the rule in its own words: a position is liquidated as soon as its loss equals the original wager.
A capped loss can still be a total loss. Moon's terms warn in capitals that a user can lose the entire wager rapidly, including through a bust. The help center frames the cap as limited risk, with the maximum loss always equal to the chosen wager. At setup, the help center calls the wager both the amount at risk and the maximum possible loss.
Platform errors do not undo a bust. If a bet busts because of an erroneous price or another platform issue, Moon's terms say the settlement stands and is final. The terms add that Moon need not reopen the bet, re-credit the wager or pay compensation. Moon may restore a bet as a goodwill gesture, but that choice sets no precedent for other users.

What does Moon.com charge on a bet?
Moon.com charges a 1% opening fee on each new bet, as of October 2026. Moon's fee article says this fee is worked out on the wager alone, not on the leveraged exposure. A separate performance fee then applies to profit on winning bets.
The performance fee is charged on realized profit and has a floor of 10% of that profit, according to Moon's fee article. Losing bets pay no performance fee. Moon's terms say the House adds no spread to its quoted prices. Its main edge comes from the performance fee instead. The fee is calculated from short-term price moves in the market and taken from the profit before the payout is credited.
Bets left open may also face periodic holding fees under Section 8.5 of Moon's terms. That clause points to product specifications published on the platform, which Moon may amend from time to time. Moon's documents do not state a holding-fee rate or a charging interval. Moon can also change its fee schedule at any time by posting a new version on the platform.
Fees come out of the account balance or the payout automatically. Except where law or the fee schedule says otherwise, Moon's terms treat all fees as non-refundable. Rakeback, Moon's scheme for handing back part of the fees, returns 3.5% of fees paid once Moon activates it for an account. The terms also allow a dormancy fee on accounts with no login or betting for 12 months in a row.

Is Moon.com a crypto platform?
Moon.com is a crypto platform for deposits: Moon's help center says it takes deposits only in cryptocurrency for now. The terms define supported currencies as cryptocurrencies and, where enabled, fiat currencies. A user picks a coin in the wallet or deposit area and copies a deposit address.
Identity checks come first. Moon's help center states that KYC must be submitted before a user can deposit. A verified email is also required first. Deposits show up in the account only after the needed number of blockchain confirmations. Moon's terms also require users to confirm that deposited funds come from lawful sources. After the deposit arrives, the help center says, the user is ready to place a first bet.
Withdrawals face identity verification, anti-money-laundering and counter-terrorism financing (AML/CTF) checks, minimum and maximum limits, network fees and processing times. Large withdrawals get extra screening: requests at or above a review threshold that Moon sets are assessed before release. Moon's terms say that screening can use automated tools, including AI-assisted analysis of betting history and account activity. The terms say the threshold and the criteria are both set by Moon from time to time.
Moon also offers a play-money balance. As of October 2026, its help center says a user who runs out can top it back up to $100,000. On the real-money side, Moon's terms say withdrawals may be held until deposits have fully cleared and cannot be reversed. If an account is closed, Moon's terms promise reasonable efforts to release the remaining balance. That release depends on any outstanding verification, legal holds or fees owed. The Moon Legit review of Moon.com sets these money rules beside the rest of the terms.

What we could not verify about Moon.com
Moon.com's account behavior, payout speed and support quality are not verified here. Nobody on Moon Legit has used a Moon account for this article. The findings rest on 26 Moon pages retrieved on 2026-10-18: 23 English help-center articles and 3 other moon.com pages, plus the Anjouan license register.
Moon's documents do not state a holding-fee rate or charging interval. Section 8.5 of the terms only says open bets may face periodic holding fees under product specifications. The threshold that triggers extra withdrawal screening is set by Moon and may change from time to time. Moon's terms also let it suspend or delist any market or bet type at any time.
Account behavior was not observed: no deposit, bet or withdrawal took place for this article. Payout speed, the pace of KYC review and the quality of Moon's support therefore remain unchecked. Whether the bust price shown before a bet matches its actual settlement in live markets was also not checked. The full market list and the leverage cap on each market were not compiled either.
Moon's terms put the burden of keeping up on the user. They say users must review the betting rules, wager limits and product specifications, which may be amended over time. Every figure on Moon Legit for Moon.com reflects Moon's documents as of October 2026 and may differ later. Current figures can only be confirmed on Moon's own pages at the time of reading.

The Services are provided for entertainment and recreational purposes, subject to the specific product terms, Betting rules, and risk disclosures published on the Platform from time to time.

Your maximum loss on any Bet is limited to the Wager you have committed to it, and your Account balance will never be reduced below zero as a result of the placement or settlement of Bets.
YOU CAN LOSE YOUR ENTIRE WAGER RAPIDLY, INCLUDING THROUGH AUTOMATIC SETTLEMENT (BUST), BUT YOU CAN NEVER LOSE MORE THAN YOUR WAGER.
Where an open Bet is closed, settled, or Bust (in whole or in part) as a result of an Erroneous Price or other Platform-related issue, the closure or settlement shall stand and be final.
We are under no obligation to reopen or reinstate the Bet, to restore it to its prior state, to re-credit the Wager, or to compensate you for any loss, or for any gain that might hypothetically have accrued had the Bet remained open, and any liability we may nonetheless have is subject to the exclusions and the cap in Section 16.
We may, in our sole discretion and as a gesture of goodwill only, and without any admission of liability or waiver of this Section, elect to re-credit a Wager or restore a Bet in an individual case; any such election does not create a course of dealing or entitle you or any other User to the same treatment in any other case.
The House does not apply a spread to its quoted prices.
Instead, the House charges a performance fee (the "Performance Fee"), which is the House’s principal edge on Bets.
The Performance Fee is calculated by reference to short-term movements in the price of the relevant Market and is applied to the profit of a Bet before the Payout is credited, at the rates and in the manner set out in the Fee Schedule and the applicable product specifications.
Section 8.5 of the terms says open bets may be subject to periodic holding fees as described in product specifications that may change.
8.5 Holding Fees Bets kept open may be subject to periodic holding fees, calculated and charged as described in the applicable product specifications published on the Platform, which may be amended from time to time.
We may amend the Fee Schedule at any time by posting the updated schedule on the Platform.
Fees will be deducted automatically from your Account balance or Payouts.
Except as required by applicable law or expressly stated in the Fee Schedule, all fees are non-refundable.
We may apply a dormancy fee, as set out in our Fee Schedule, to Accounts with no login or Betting activity for a continuous period of twelve (12) months, and may, following reasonable prior notice to your registered email address and subject to applicable unclaimed-property laws, close a dormant Account and treat the remaining balance in accordance with our dormancy policy.

Withdrawal requests at or above a threshold amount determined by us from time to time (the "Review Threshold") will be assessed against criteria that we determine from time to time, using automated tools, including artificial-intelligence-assisted analysis of your Betting and wagering history and Account activity, before being released.
We may: (a) withhold withdrawals until deposits have fully cleared and are no longer capable of being reversed; (b) recover, including by deduction from your Account balance, any winnings paid out against deposits that are subsequently reversed; (c) suspend or close your Account; and (d) report chargeback abuse to payment providers, card schemes, and relevant authorities.
