Moon.com App: Home-Screen Web App, No Native App

Short answer

Partly: Moon has no native app, but its help center shows how to install the site as a web app.

Moon.com has no native mobile app, and its help center says to save the site to a phone's home screen instead. The largest gap is that Moon's documents give no gaming license number. People under Moon's minimum age and anyone in a country on Moon's prohibited list must not use the service.

Moon.com is a website where users bet on whether asset prices go up or down with leverage, with Moon as the House on every bet, run by Moon International Limited.

Does Moon.com have a mobile app?

No, Moon.com has no native mobile app. Moon's help center says Moon does not currently offer one. Phone users open Moon in a mobile browser instead. The help center also says the site can be saved to the home screen for an app-like experience.

Moon says it is working on a dedicated mobile application. Until that app exists, the help center points phone users to the mobile browser. A user opens Moon in that browser and uses the platform there. The help center then suggests saving Moon to the home screen. Moon calls the result an app-like experience, which is the help center's own term for the saved site.

A progressive web app, or PWA, is a website that a phone can launch much like a native app. Moon's help center says Moon works as a PWA once someone adds it to the home screen. After that step, the help center says, Moon sits on the home screen as if it were a regular app. The same article promises quick and easy access to the platform.

The saved web app on a phone opens the same Moon.com platform that the mobile browser shows. Moon's terms name Moon International Limited as the company behind Moon.com. The terms also call Moon the House, meaning the principal counterparty to every bet on the platform. A broader look at the platform, beyond the phone setup, sits in the Moon Legit review of Moon.com.

How do you add the Moon com app to your home screen?

You add the Moon com app by saving the Moon website to your phone's home screen from the mobile browser. Moon's help center gives a short guide for this. Part of that guide asks the user to scroll down and select Add to Home Screen. Moon then shows up among the phone's other app icons.

The guide sits in Moon's help center under the title How to Add Moon to Your Home Screen. It starts in the mobile browser, where the user already has Moon open. The step that matters is the Add to Home Screen option, which the user reaches by scrolling down. After the user selects it, the phone places a Moon icon on the home screen.

Moon's help center lists what the PWA lets a user do. An item on that list is quick access to Moon from the home screen. The help center also says the saved site launches and runs in a way similar to a native app. A user who adds the icon can start Moon from the home screen like any other app.

Moon's help center presents the home-screen route as an option while a dedicated app is in development. The same help article says that Moon is working on that dedicated mobile application. For now, the help center says Moon has no native mobile app on offer. Phone users who want a Moon icon on the home screen follow the browser steps that the article describes.

Which company do you sign up with on Moon.com?

You sign up with Moon International Limited when you open a Moon.com account. Section 1.1 of Moon's terms names that company as the other party to the agreement. The terms place its incorporation in the Union of the Comoros, under registration number 16151. Its registered office is in Hamchako, Mutsamudu, on the island of Anjouan.

Moon's terms present the service as recreational entertainment and gaming. The same terms rule out treating it as investment, trading, brokerage or financial advice. The terms add that the platform offers no spot trading and no way to buy, sell or hold a digital asset. A user who installs the web app signs up for a betting product, not a brokerage account.

The Anjouan gaming regulator's public license register lists Moon International Ltd, with a status of valid as of October 2026. Its row gives license number ALSI-202601063-FI2 and the license type b2c. According to the register, the license was issued on January 31, 2026, and expires on January 30, 2027. The domain listed in that row is moon.com, the site that the web app opens.

A gaming license number does not appear in Moon's documents. Moon's terms choose Comoros law to govern the agreement. The same clause also covers claims and disputes that are not contractual in nature. Any dispute left unresolved after informal steps goes to arbitration under the UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules. The seat of that arbitration is Moroni, in the Union of the Comoros.

Who can sign up for a Moon.com account?

As of October 2026, you can sign up for Moon.com if you are at least 18, or older where local law requires. Moon's terms also exclude anyone in a prohibited jurisdiction. Section 3.2 of the terms lists those places by name. Each person may hold one account unless Moon agrees in writing to more.

Moon's terms ask each user to confirm several points on an ongoing basis. The user must be at least 18, or the higher lawful age for this kind of wagering product where they live. Full legal capacity is another condition, along with not being a prohibited person and using the service lawfully. The user must also not be self-excluded from the platform.

Section 3.2 of Moon's terms names the countries and territories where Moon does not offer the service. The list includes the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, France, Germany, Spain and the Netherlands, among others. Ontario also appears on the list by name. The terms also exclude places under country-wide sanctions and places that need a local license Moon does not hold. Users must not use the service from a prohibited jurisdiction.

Moon's terms allow one account per person unless Moon gives written permission for more. The account holder alone must keep login details, passwords and two-factor authentication devices private. Two-factor authentication is an extra login step that asks for a code from a linked mobile device. The terms make the holder responsible for all activity under the account, whether or not they authorized it. Users can also ask Moon to block them from the service for at least 6 months or permanently.

How do you fund a Moon.com account after sign-up?

After sign-up, a Moon.com account takes cryptocurrency deposits only. Moon's help center says Moon supports only cryptocurrency deposits at this time. Identity verification, known as KYC, must be submitted before any deposit, and the Moon Legit KYC guide covers that process. No welcome, sign-up or deposit bonus for new accounts appears in Moon's documents.

Moon's terms set out several conditions for taking money out of an account. Each request is subject to identity verification and to checks against money laundering and terrorist financing. As of October 2026, minimum and maximum limits apply, along with network fees and processing times published on the platform. Requests at or above a review threshold that Moon sets receive extra screening before release.

Moon decides the review threshold amount and may change it from time to time. Withdrawals at or above that amount are assessed against criteria that Moon also sets. The terms say automated tools carry out the assessment before the money is released. Those tools include analysis assisted by artificial intelligence, which looks at the user's betting and wagering history and account activity.

Moon's documents do not mention MoonPay or a service called Pay with Moon. Users who turn on two-factor authentication also face an extra security step when they withdraw. Moon's help center says the step covers any other method that sends funds out of the account. Referral codes have their own Moon Legit page, and Moon's documents do not mention a fee discount for any code.

How do you log in to the Moon.com app with a passkey?

You log in to the Moon.com app with a passkey once you set one up on your account. Moon's help center says passkeys make login faster and more secure. A passkey lets you skip the email and password and use the device's built-in security features. To create one, you must first enable two-factor authentication.

Moon's help center describes a passkey as a login method that improves account security and is easier to use. The article names Apple, Google, Microsoft and the Fast Identity Online Alliance as developers. A passkey replaces a typed password made of letters, numbers and symbols with a random unique code. Moon's passkey article says a passkey cannot be guessed or cracked.

Moon's help center sets a distance rule for passkeys. Sign-in only works when the signing device is near the device that stores the passkey. Users do not need to remember a unique password for each site, the article says. Passkeys work on the specific websites they are made for. Moon says that design stops a login to a fake or malicious site.

Setting up a passkey on Moon.com starts with two-factor authentication. Moon's passkey article says you must enable it on the account before you create a passkey. The setup then runs through an option called Manage Passkeys. Moon presents passkeys as an alternative to the usual password, email and two-factor logins. The wider account protections are covered on the Moon Legit security page.

How do you set up two-factor authentication on the Moon.com app?

You set up two-factor authentication on Moon.com by linking an authenticator app to your account. Moon's help center describes the method as an added layer of protection for the account. The guide asks you to install Authy, which Moon recommends, or Google Authenticator on your chosen device.

The linking step happens on the Security page inside the Account menu of Moon.com. There, you copy the string that Moon shows into the authenticator app, or you scan the QR code instead. Moon's help center calls two-factor authentication an extra layer that helps prevent unwanted or illegal access to the account. Moon's security article says Moon strongly recommends enabling it on all accounts.

With two-factor authentication on, Moon asks for a time-sensitive code from the authenticator app for certain actions. The code is randomized and comes from a linked mobile device that the user owns. Losing access to the code calls for a recovery step. Moon's help center says to write to accountrecovery@moon.com from the email linked to the account. Moon then starts a recovery procedure.

Password resets also affect phone sessions. Moon's security article says a password reset logs out every active session on the account. After the reset, the user signs in again on all devices. A user who forgets a password but has a linked email can reset it through the Forgot Password form. Accounts made with Facebook or Google have no Moon password to change. Those users change the password of their Facebook or Google account instead.

Can you try the Moon.com app with Play Money?

Yes, Moon.com has a Play Money mode that lets you try the platform without real funds. Moon's help center says Play Money needs no real funds at all. As of October 2026, a user who runs out can top the balance back up to $100,000.

Moon's help center defines Play Money as a simulated wagering balance for practice in a risk-free setting. The mode lets users explore the platform, and they can try out betting strategies there without real money. Moon says the mode exists for learning and practice alone. Profits and losses in this mode are simulated, and Play Money bets use no real funds.

You turn on Play Money with a toggle in the main menu dropdown. Moon's help center says you can enable it at any time. Once it is on, the account switches to Play Money mode. All bets then use the simulated balance instead of real funds. While in this mode, a user can access the same wagering features that the live platform offers.

Moon sets no limit on how many times a user can refill the Play Money balance. Each refill takes the balance back to $100,000, according to the help center. After each top-up, the help center says, the user can continue playing. A refill resets a simulated number and is not a deposit of real money. Moon's help center places these refills under the heading Refilling Your Play Money Balance.

What we could not verify

Moon Legit could not verify how the Moon.com web app behaves on a live account. No Moon Legit writer opened or used a Moon account for this guide. The findings rest on 26 Moon pages and one public register, all retrieved on October 18, 2026.

The Moon page set covers 23 English help-center articles and 3 other pages on moon.com. Account behavior inside the saved web app was not tested. Payout speed, withdrawal times and how the review threshold works were not tested either. Support quality, including the account-recovery process for lost two-factor codes, was not tested. The home-screen steps were not tried on any phone or browser.

Moon Legit could not confirm when the dedicated mobile app that Moon describes will launch. Moon's help center says that work on the dedicated app is under way. The PWA behavior that Moon describes, such as quick home-screen access, was not checked on any device. Passkey distance rules and the Manage Passkeys option were also not checked on a real account.

Moon's terms and help center give no gaming license number. The Anjouan register row was read as published and not compared with any other register. Moon Legit did not assess what that license covers. Moon's terms state that Moon.com does not act as a trust company or a licensed custodian. The same terms say keeping funds separate cannot promise a full recovery if Moon becomes insolvent or suffers a security breach.
