Moon.com Trustpilot and Scamadviser: Anjouan Operator
Short answer
Documented, with gaps: Moon names its operator and a complaints email, and review-site scores need your own check.
Moon Legit has no Trustpilot or Scamadviser score to report for Moon.com, but Moon's terms name Moon International Limited as the operator and list complaints@moon.com for complaints. The largest gap is that Moon's own documents do not state a gaming license number. Minors, people in countries on Moon's prohibited list and self-excluded users must not use Moon.com.
Moon.com is a gambling website where users bet that a market price will go up or down with leverage, Moon takes the other side of every bet, and Moon International Limited runs it.

Who is the company behind Moon.com?
Moon International Limited operates Moon.com. Section 1.1 of Moon's terms names this company as the other party to every user agreement. The terms give the Union of the Comoros as its place of incorporation and list registration number 16151. Its registered office is in Hamchako, Mutsamudu, on the island of Anjouan.
Moon's terms also say who takes the other side of each bet. Moon.com acts as the House, the name the terms give to the main counterparty on every bet. A winning bet is paid out by Moon. A losing bet leaves the wager with Moon. The terms describe Moon.com as an online platform where users place bets whose value and payout follow the price movement of a market.
Section 1.1 groups Moon International Limited and its affiliates under several short names. The list includes Moon, Moon.com, the House and the Company. The signature block at the end of the terms repeats the company name and the address in Hamchako, Mutsamudu, on the Autonomous Island of Anjouan. Section 1.4 adds that each user signs up as principal, for their own account, unless Moon agrees in writing to another role.
Moon's terms state that nothing in the agreement creates an agency, partnership, joint venture or employment link between a user and Moon.com. Section 27.1 says the agreement and the policies it refers to form the whole deal on the services. That deal replaces earlier agreements and understandings, whether spoken or written. Moon Legit's wider check of whether Moon.com is legit appears on a separate page.

How can you check a Moon.com review against Moon's own documents?
You compare the review's claims with Moon's terms and the Anjouan register. Moon's terms name the operator, the counterparty, the complaints contact and the dispute route. A review that conflicts with those documents needs a closer look before you rely on it.
A review is easier to weigh when it names the right company behind the site. Moon's terms name Moon International Limited as the company that contracts with users. The Anjouan gaming regulator's register lists Moon International Ltd against the domain moon.com. Moon's documents do not mention MoonPay or Pay with Moon. Nothing in Moon's documents ties reviews filed under those names to Moon.com.
Some account rules in Moon's help center are easy to compare with a review. Moon currently accepts cryptocurrency deposits only. Identity verification, known as KYC, must be submitted before a user can deposit. KYC approval is then needed before any withdrawal. Moon has no native mobile app at present, although a user can add the site to a phone's home screen as a progressive web app. A review that describes paying in by card does not match that deposit rule.
Fee claims in a review can be compared with Moon's help center. As of October 2026, the help center lists a 1% opening fee on each new bet. That fee is worked out on the wager alone, not on the leveraged exposure. Profitable bets pay a performance fee on realized profit, set at no less than 10% of it. Losing bets carry no performance fee. Section 8.5 of the terms allows periodic holding fees on open bets, set in product specifications that can change.

What does Moon.com sell, according to its own terms?
Moon.com sells leveraged up-or-down bets, not investments. Moon's terms call the service an entertainment and gaming product for recreational use. The same terms rule out treating it as an investment, broker, trading or financial advice service. A review that treats Moon.com as a trading account rates a product the terms disclaim.
As of October 2026, Moon's leverage guide lets a user choose up to 1000x leverage. The guide's own example shows a $100 wager controlling a $100,000 position. A bet, in the terms, is a wager on the price movement of a market, with the wager size and leverage chosen by the user. Its payout follows that price movement under Section 8. The terms add that the platform offers no spot trading and no way to hold a digital asset.
Moon's leverage guide describes markets as volatile. It says a 0.1% move against the user at 1000x is enough to wipe out the whole wager. The guide's key rule is that a position closes out, or is liquidated, as soon as its losses equal the original wager. As of October 2026, Section 8.6 of the terms caps the loss on any bet at the wager. The guide adds that the max loss price appears before the user confirms a bet.
Moon's help center describes a play-money mode that needs no real funds. A user who runs out of play money can top the balance back up to $100,000. The terms define a payout as the amount due when a bet settles or closes, calculated under Section 8. Discussion of Moon.com on Reddit is covered on its own Moon Legit page, apart from this guide to review sites.

Does Moon.com have a gaming license on a public register?
Yes, a public register lists a license for Moon.com. As of October 2026, the license register of the Anjouan gaming regulator shows Moon International Ltd with license number ALSI-202601063-FI2. The row gives the status as valid and lists moon.com as the domain.
The Anjouan register row also carries two dates. It shows an issue date of January 31, 2026. The expiry date in the same row is January 30, 2027. The register spells the company as Moon International Ltd. Moon's terms use the full form, Moon International Limited. The register is published on the anjouangaming.com site. Moon Legit records only what the row states, not what the license allows.
Moon's own documents do not state a gaming license number. Neither the terms nor the help center articles that Moon Legit read give one. Here, the license details come from the regulator's public register instead. Readers who see a license claim in a review can compare it with that register row. Moon's terms also bar use from countries where a local gambling or financial-services license is needed and Moon lacks one.
The word license also appears in Section 13.2 of Moon's terms, with another meaning. There, Moon grants each user a limited, revocable right to access and use the services. The grant is non-exclusive and cannot be transferred. That user license depends on the user following the agreement, and it is not a gaming license. Under Section 20.1, Moon may amend the agreement at any time by posting revised terms with a new Last Updated date.

How do you file a complaint with Moon.com?
You email Moon's complaints address. Moon's terms list complaints@moon.com as the contact for complaints. The same terms refer to Section 24 as the complaints section, and Section 6.5 points a user there when a withdrawal request is declined and the user wants that decision reviewed.
Withdrawal complaints have a separate first step. If a user believes a withdrawal was delayed or declined in error, the terms say to contact support@moon.com. Moon commits to look into the case and fix any mistake within a reasonable time. A decline under the withdrawal screening section does not, on its own, forfeit the account balance. The user may also send a new withdrawal request. Moon Legit's withdrawals page covers the screening rules in detail.
Moon's help center names other contacts for specific problems. A user who loses access to a two-factor authentication code should write to accountrecovery@moon.com from the email linked to the account. Moon then starts a recovery procedure for that code. Once two-factor authentication is active, Moon asks for the same extra check on withdrawals and other fund transfers. Where rakeback, a return of part of the fees paid, is not active on an account, the help center tells the user to contact Moon support.
Moon's terms treat one other route as off limits. Starting a chargeback or payment reversal on a deposit after betting with those funds counts as fraud under the terms. It is also a material breach of the agreement. Moon may then hold withdrawals until deposits fully clear, recover winnings tied to reversed deposits, and suspend or close the account. The terms add that Moon may tell payment firms, card networks and the authorities about chargeback abuse.

What happens if a Moon.com complaint is not resolved?
Moon.com sends unresolved disputes to arbitration. Moon's terms say any dispute that is not settled informally is finally decided by arbitration under the UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules. The terms set Moroni, in the Union of the Comoros, as the seat of that arbitration, and English as its language.
Comoros law governs Moon's terms, under a clause naming the Union of the Comoros. The governing-law clause covers any dispute or claim linked to the agreement, including claims outside contract. It applies Comoros law without using that country's conflict-of-laws principles. A user who accepts the terms accepts Comoros law as the law of the agreement. Moon's terms add that an invalid clause is changed only as far as needed to make it valid, while the rest stays in force.
An arbitration award under Moon's terms is final and binding on both sides. The terms say a court with jurisdiction can enforce the award. They name the New York Convention on foreign arbitral awards as one way to enforce it. The terms also state that the Union of the Comoros is a party to that convention. Moon Legit has not assessed how such an award would work in a given country.
Some parts of Moon's terms stay in force after an account ends. The terms say provisions meant by nature to survive termination still apply. They name Sections 15 through 18 and 21 through 23 among them. After an account closes, Moon says it will make reasonable efforts to help withdraw any remaining balance, subject to outstanding checks, legal holds or fees owed.

Can Moon.com close an account or void a bet?
Yes, Moon's terms allow both. Moon may suspend, restrict or end an account without prior notice in several listed cases. Moon may also void, reverse, cancel or adjust a bet that it reasonably believes was settled at a clearly wrong price caused by a platform fault.
The listed grounds for closing an account are broad. They include a breach of the agreement and suspected fraud, money laundering or abuse of the platform's pricing. They also cover orders from a court or authority, and verification checks that Moon cannot complete. Section 4.8 adds a case where Moon has reasonable grounds to think a user may be a problem gambler who has not chosen self-exclusion. A final ground is any step Moon thinks is needed to protect itself, other users or the platform.
A clearly wrong price, in the terms, is one far from the market's prevailing price at that moment. The terms list causes such as system faults, latency, data-feed failure and wrong quotes. Moon may also void bets linked to manipulation or abuse of the platform. Where a bet is voided or adjusted, any payout or profit credited from it must be paid back on demand. Moon may take that amount from the account balance.
Moon's terms allow each person one account, unless Moon agrees in writing to more. Using a VPN, proxy server, false address or nominee to get around the country restrictions is a material breach. It may lead to immediate suspension or closure of the account. Where the law allows, it may also lead to loss of promotional funds under Section 10. Moon monitors betting with automated and manual surveillance tools. During an investigation, Moon may pause withdrawals and close open bets on the accounts involved.

How much can a user recover from Moon.com in a dispute?
Moon caps its liability to users. As of October 2026, Moon's terms limit its total liability to a user to the greater of the fees paid in the 3 months before the event, or USD 100. The cap covers claims in contract, tort or otherwise.
The cap has some exceptions under the terms. The terms keep full liability where negligence causes death or personal injury. Fraud and fraudulent misrepresentation also fall outside the cap. Any other liability that the law does not allow a company to exclude sits outside it too. The USD 100 figure can be paid as an equivalent in the supported currency in which the fees were paid.
Moon.com is not a trust company or a licensed custodian, according to its terms. The terms describe steps to keep user funds separate. They state that those steps do not promise full recovery of funds after insolvency, a security breach or another loss event. Users, for their part, agree to defend and cover Moon.com against claims and costs that come from their own breach, legal violations or use of the services.
Moon's terms also say nothing guarantees that a bet's in-play value or settlement will track its market price exactly. The terms let Moon manage the House's total exposure by changing leverage levels, wager limits and payout limits. Moon may also refuse a bet or, in extreme cases, close open bets under Section 7.4. Fees, under the terms, come out of the account balance or payouts automatically.

Who should not use Moon.com, whatever the reviews say?
People in Moon's prohibited countries, minors and self-excluded users must not use Moon.com. Section 3.2 of Moon's terms lists the prohibited countries. As of October 2026, users must also be at least 18, or older where local law sets a higher age for this kind of wagering.
The Section 3.2 list includes the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, France, Germany, Spain, Italy and the Netherlands. It also names Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Peru, South Africa and Ontario. The terms extend the ban to any country under broad, country-wide sanctions. They also cover places where a local gambling or financial-services license is required and Moon does not hold one.
Moon's terms say no one may access or use the services from a prohibited jurisdiction. Moon may use IP-address checks, geolocation data, device fingerprinting and VPN or proxy detection to block such access. A Prohibited Person, in the terms, includes anyone on a sanctions or watch list, and anyone located in or a national of a prohibited jurisdiction. The definition also covers anyone barred by applicable law from services of this kind.
Moon's terms let a user request self-exclusion for a chosen period of at least 6 months, or permanently. Each user must also confirm, on an ongoing basis, that they are not self-excluded from Moon. Users must have full legal capacity to accept the agreement, and their use must be lawful under the laws that apply to them. A person acting for a legal entity must have authority to bind it, under Section 1.5.

What we could not verify
Moon Legit could not verify any Trustpilot or Scamadviser rating for Moon.com, and records none here. The checks behind this review cover Moon's own documents and one public license register. No one at Moon Legit used a Moon account, so account behavior, payout speed and support quality remain untested.
Moon Legit read 26 Moon pages on 2026-10-18: 23 English help center articles and 3 other moon.com pages. None of those pages gives a gaming license number. The same set has no mention of a welcome bonus, sign-up bonus or deposit bonus. Section 8.5 of the terms permits periodic holding fees on open bets. No page in the set gives a holding-fee rate or a charging interval.
Several things remain outside what Moon Legit can confirm. Moon Legit did not open an account, place a bet, or deposit or withdraw funds. Nor did it contact Moon's support or complaints teams, so complaint response times are unknown. Moon sets the review threshold for enhanced withdrawal screening itself and can change it. The Section 6.5 screening rules describe what Moon may do with a withdrawal, not how often it does so.
Every finding here reflects the documents as they stood on that date. The Anjouan register row was checked on the same day and shows an expiry of January 30, 2027. Moon's terms allow changes at any time, shown by a new Last Updated date on the posted version. Readers should check the current terms and the register before relying on any review, on any site.
